Danterr PD3™ dowel cradles are high-performance dowel cradles engineered to deliver superior load transfer and deflection control at concrete slab contraction joints. The system uses tapered, sleeveless plate dowels bonded to a welded wire cradle to maintain precise alignment during the pour, improving performance across each concrete dowel joint. With direct steel-to-concrete contact and no plastic sleeves, PD3™ dowel cradles achieve high load transfer efficiency while reducing joint deterioration over time.
Designed for demanding slab-on-grade applications, PD3™ dowel cradles are manufactured from mild steel to AS/NZS 3679.1 and galvanised to AS/NZS 4680. The range supports concrete dowels in 6 mm, 10 mm, and 20 mm plate thicknesses, with centre spacing options of 300 mm, 400 mm, or 450 mm to suit varying slab depths and loading conditions. Integrated RynoBar™ technology improves site efficiency by eliminating manual removal at saw cuts, making PD3 dowel cradles well suited to industrial floors, warehouses, logistics facilities, and high-tolerance Super Flat Floor applications.
Custom dowel cradle configurations are also available for projects requiring non-standard dowel sizes or specifications.
