Top Deck Chairs—also known as top deck bar chairs, top deck spacers, or suspended deck bar chairs—are heavy-duty plastic reinforcement supports engineered for elevated rebar placement in suspended concrete structures. Designed for use in decks, thick precast panels, and tilt-up construction, these chairs ensure consistent concrete cover from 100mm to 340mm without compromise.

Each chair is constructed from high-strength engineered plastic and features a rigid square base for superior stability on both flat and ribbed formwork. Load-tested to exceed 300kg, these top deck bar chairs won’t collapse, deform, or corrode—making them a safe, long-lasting alternative to steel. A crossbar saddle provides a tie-off point for optional wire fastening, maintaining mesh or bar alignment during pours.

Fully AS/NZS 2425:2015 compliant, these suspended deck bar chairs support large-diameter reinforcement bars (≥16mm) and resist heat and UV exposure. Their compact footprint ensures minimal surface marking, making them ideal for high-visibility structural concrete applications.
