Starbars™ GFRP Bar is available in standard diameters ranging from 10mm to 16mm, supplied in 6000mm lengths.
Starbars™ GFRP Bar defines fibreglass concrete reinforcement, combining premium glass fibres with a resilient polymer matrix to produce a deformed reinforcing bar designed to perform reliably in challenging environments. Unlike steel, the material does not rust, making it well-suited to structures exposed to coastal, marine, or chemically aggressive conditions. It is manufactured in accordance with ASTM D7957/D7957M US Standard compliance and aligns with internationally recognised design and construction standards, providing confidence for engineers, consultants and contractors.
What is a GFRP Reinforcing Bar?
GFRP, or Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer, is a composite material formed by continuous high-strength glass fibres encapsulated within a polymer resin. This manufacturing process produces a robust GFRP Bar that is corrosion-resistant, lightweight and purpose-built for concrete reinforcement.
